A little faith. A little healing. A place for you.

Welcome to the table, sis.

Dear Black Woman, God Said — real conversations. Godly wisdom. For her.

Hey sis, I’m Dr. Marva Jean Tutt, and I saved you a seat. This is a home for Black women who are tired of carrying it all alone — a place to laugh, heal, pray, and remember what God already said about you. Come on in.

The heart behind the conversations

Meet Dr. Marva J

Educator, author, founder of the Learning Futures Collective, and host of Dear Black Woman, God Said. After nearly 30 years in education, Dr. Marva J writes and speaks for Black women and girls about work, voice, and becoming — and about the God who walks with us through all three.

Through Dear Black Woman, God Said, she is building a faith community where Black women feel seen, supported, and connected to God. Her heart is for honest conversations that make room for healing, hope, and the courage to reclaim your voice.

With faith & love, Dr. Marva

You don’t have to be everything to everyone to be worthy of love, rest, and a life rooted in God.

A reminder for your heart
More than a podcast. A place to belong.

Dear Black Woman,
you are seen. You are loved.

You give so much of yourself. To your family. To your work. To everyone who needs you. But this space? This one is for you.

Here, we make room for real conversations about faith, healing, boundaries, rest, and remembering your worth. Not because you have it all figured out, but because you deserve a community that walks beside you while God does His work within you.

Come as you are. There’s a seat for you here.

A little quiet.
A little prayer. A little you.

Dear Black Woman, GOD SAID...
A Prayer, Reflection & Writing Journal

Some things need more than a moment. They need a page. Make space to listen to God, name what’s on your heart, and reflect on the woman He is calling you to be. One honest word at a time.
